Today @ 1pm when I boarded the Blue Line to O'Hare, the car was packed as always when an older, disabled gentleman w/cane boarded.
NOT ONE person gave up their seat for him when he asked nicely. The train started moving and he fell right into the doors and on the ground. I had to lift him, because I was afraid the doors would pop open. He was twice my weight.
When I got him up, another man helped me keep him steady and everyone on the car STILL did not budge.
Finally after I was glowering with a very pissed look on my face, one young lady finally offered her seat.
